If you bring your own TV-set, it is important that you pay the NRK-license. This is the resident’s own responsibility.
SiA only pays the license for our own TV-sets which are located in the common areas. For more info about the license go to: http://nrk.no/lisens.
NRK sometimes conduct inspections where you will have to show them the receipt for license paid. 
It is possible to get cable-TV in some of our student housing units.Except tempus in Kristiansand. In Tele Studentby in Grimstad we have made a deal with Homebase about IP-TV. Decoder for Studentby can be rented from SiA Bolig at a reasonable price.
