SiA offers legal aid to students who experience significant problems with their tenancy to private residential landlords. SiA has an arrangement with a private practice lawyer, who will evaluate whether or not there is a legal basis for a case. SiA covers the costs of legal aid.

Rental contract

Students who are in need of legal aid regarding their tenancy can contact SiA. Please bring with you/attach the following: 

  • Copies of valid student ID and receipt for paid tuition. 
  • Lease 
  • Short summary of the problem.

We will then provide you with our lawyer’s contact information.
